Rubau is awarded part of the work on the Colombian rail corridor

October, 2013

The National Infrastructure Agency (ANI) of Colombia has recently awarded repair of the La Dorada-Chiriguaná rail corridor to the Unión Temporal Ferroviaria Central consortium, to which Rubau belongs. It is a large railway project worth approximately 32 million euros with an execution period of 24 months.

The award of this contract, together with another for a similar amount in the Bogotá-Belencito corridor, represents the initial consolidation of the three established phases of the strategy of the National Government and of the Ministry of Transport (through the ANI) to revive railway transport in Colombia.
