		Thanks to the policycy strategy based on quality and the necessities derived from the important growth economically and geographically of the company, CONSTRUCCIONES RUBAU S.A. has developed important management systems as much technical as economic-financial. The point of reference is an important Project of total Quality based on the model EFQM, which through the discipline of its auto-evaluations allows for management assessment, the detection of areas for improvement and the planning and control of quality. The proposed methodology for this model has been implemented since 1998, a fact which converts this company into one of the pioneering constructors in its use.
		In what is referred to as process management, the company is certified by AENOR its system of Quality Assurance as much as the Environmental Management. In addition, since 1997 it has implemented a system of management of Prevention of Accidents based on the law 81900 EX, which integrated with the System of Quality Assurance and Environment in 1998. The resulting system, called CPM system, was pioneered in our country and permitted the uniting in one system all the requirements of the three laws and facilitates to a considerable degree the management of the works.

CONSTRUCCIONES RUBAU S.A. has certified its System of Quality Assurance based on the new legislation ISO 9001:2000 since the month of March 2001. This fact has made this company the first in construction in the state of Spain and the first Catalan company in all sectors to achieve this certification.

As has already been stated, this system is included in the CPM system which integrates in addition all the systems of prevention of Accidents and of the Environment.

The high standard demanded of itself has allowed CONSTRUCCIONES RUBAU S.A. to widen its application of the CPM system to the definition of procedures like: continual improvement, human resources, economic planning, offers and allocations, etc.

Thanks to the systematic application of techniques of continual improvement the systems of management have benefited continually from increased personnel of the company, customers and society in general and this has had direct repercussions on the quality of the works for our customers.
