The objective is to promote the generation of photovoltaic energy and focuses on projects for large spaces (roofs of industrial buildings, logistics, office buildings, etc.), as well as flat roofs and roofs of residential buildings. In addition, investment is planned in energy rehabilitation projects for buildings with high energy consumption, such as hospitals, hotels and sports centers, and it also intends to invest in projects that promote innovation in the renewable energy sector and citizen participation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">MES Barcelona is a public-private financial co-investment mechanism (PPP), through which Barcelona City Council allocates \u20ac50M to investment projects presented by approved investors with experience in photovoltaics and energy rehabilitation.
