Rubau was one of the first Spanish companies to make a commitment to risk prevention management and since 1996 has had an occupational risk prevention management system integrated into the general management of the company, which is currently certified under the ISO 45001 standard.
However, the company’s most significant contribution in this field is carried out through the Building Safely campaign. This ambitious initiative, launched in 2000, is based on eight key pillars aimed at providing both technical and educational tools to help prevent workplace accidents. WORKPLACE ROAD SAFETY POLICY
As part of CONSTRUCCIONES RUBAU’s commitment to ensuring the safety and health of everyone who contributes to the efficient development of its activities, the company has established the need to define concrete actions aimed at minimizing the risks of traffic accidents, protecting the lives and health of employees and road users, and promoting safe and responsible driving practices.
For this reason, Management implements, maintains, and continuously improves a road traffic safety management system in accordance with the ISO 39001 standard, committing to:

Promote a culture of sustainable and safe mobility in all activities within the scope of the road traffic safety management system, working towards zero accidents, where no person is killed or seriously injured in a road traffic incident.

Identify the main risk factors to ensure the health and safety of all parties involved.
 
- 
Enhance staff awareness, education, and information regarding driving risk factors, including health-related risks that may affect driving ability.

Involve all employees in promoting improvement actions in road safety, as well as our contractors, suppliers, and other potential stakeholders, encouraging them to actively participate in the continuous improvement of road safety culture.

Ensure the optimal operation of company vehicles, as well as include road safety specifications in the procurement of vehicles for fleets and transport services.
