Llogueralia has completed the construction of 110 affordable rental homes in Calafell, a key project aimed at expanding the supply of accessible housing in the municipality and responding to local residential demand.
Located in the Sant Andreu neighbourhood of Calafell and promoted in collaboration with Calafell Town Council, this development has involved an investment of 14.6 million euros and was carried out between May 2024 and February 2026.
The development consists of 2- and 3-bedroom homes, distributed across two three-storey buildings designed according to criteria of functionality, comfort and energy efficiency. The residential complex includes a landscaped communal area around its perimeter and a shared space between the blocks on the ground floor, conceived as a meeting and social space for future residents.
From a technical perspective, the project stands out for its high level of energy efficiency, with an A energy rating, and for the incorporation of sustainable solutions such as aerothermal systems for the production of domestic hot water and energy generation through photovoltaic panels on the roof. In addition, eco-efficiency measures have been implemented to optimise energy and water consumption, as well as to improve the thermal and acoustic insulation of the homes.
The project has received European funding through the Next Generation funds, as well as support from the Institut Català de Finances (ICF), reinforcing its strategic role within social housing policies.
