INCASÒL and Viladecans Town Council have awarded Rubau, in a temporary joint venture with ACSA and Aqualogy, the remodelling of the Viladecans South link and the town planning phase of the Can’Alemany sector. A large outlet shopping centre and a Desigual centre, among others, are scheduled to be built in this sector, situated between the C-32 motorway and the local rail line. The shopping area will serve as an important asset for business and tourism as well as the city’s brand, and will be called the ViladecansThe Style Outlets.
The remodelling of the link, which should take 12 months, includes a 180-metre-long viaduct and another 180 shorter viaducts. The town planning is scheduled to be completed within 6 to 10 months.
