Last June, Ens d’Abastament d’Aigües Ter-Llobregat (ATL) awarded the AREMA – RUBAU joint venture the contract for the execution of the works to upgrade the Corbera PC 15.7 reservoir.
The contract is for the construction of a new 4,000 m3 regulation reservoir, located on a plot next to the existing reservoir on the road that runs through the Bosc de Malhivern, between the Mas d’en Puis development and the summit of Puig de l’Àliga, in the municipality of Corbera de Llobregat.
Corbera de Llobregat is currently supplied from a 1000m3 tank located at an elevation of 193.0 m, which is fed by the Llobregat Water Treatment Plant. The demographic growth of the municipality in recent years has made it necessary to improve the supply system, since the insufficient capacity of the current reservoir does not guarantee a 24-hour supply to the entire population in the event of a breakdown or maintenance. The new reservoir has been designed in order to meet this need and increase the current regulation capacity.
This is the third contract awarded to AREMA since the Rubau Group acquired the company in October last year. Last February, the ACA awarded the AREMA – CICLAGUA joint venture the contract for the operation, conservation and maintenance of the Vila-Seca/Salou composting plant. This plant has a treatment capacity of 23,000 tonnes/year and receives dewatered sludge from the facilities in Vila-Seca/Salou, Cubelles-Cunit, Tortosa, Calafell, Altafulla, Valls, La Pobla de Mafumet and Deltebre, among others. We are therefore in a position to say that, in less than six months, AREMA has become one of the RUBAU GROUP’s key companies.
GRUPO RUBAU, giving an example of its commitment to the ecological transition and sustainable development, has been approved as an energy investment company in the MES Barcelona project carried out by the Catalan capital’s town hall. The 2030 Agenda is the roadmap for the city’s public policies and, with the MES Barcelona project, Barcelona City […]
On April 18, the new Clínica Girona, a project led by Construcciones Rubau and Agefred, will start operations. The new Clinic triples the surface area from 13,000 m2 to 41,000 m2. The move will take place at Easter.
Last July, the Consorci de la Costa Brava awarded the AREMA – RUBAU joint venture the contract for the renovation of the central pumping station (WWPS) and the extension of the pre-treatment of the wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) in Roses. The purpose of the contract is to modify the central WWPS by getting rid of […]
