On 14th December last, a training session took place in Barcelona to present ConstruccionesRubau’s Penal Risk Prevention Manual. The objective of this manual is to comply with the requisites set out in Organic Law 1/2015, of 30 March, which amends Organic Law 10/1995, of 23 November, on the Penal Code, where efficient models of prevention, organisation and management are required to mitigate penal risks with regard to legal persons.
The Penal Risk Prevention Manual consists of two parts. The first is a general part that includes the design, the model of supervision, control bodies, a disciplinary system and a channel for reporting an incident and other general controls to prevent the commission of crimes. The second, more specific, part identifies the penal risks that could hypothetically occur at ConstruccionesRubau, S.A., owing to the activities that the company engages in, as well as the control framework able to mitigate these risks.
At the training session, special emphasis was placed on the implementation of the corporate ethics code intended for all workers, the P-39 form on the gifts policy at national level, the P-38 form that provides a channel for reporting an incident and a penalty system, as well as the creation of an internal audit directorate to guarantee the effectiveness of the scheme.
The implementation of these regulations will take place on 1 January 2016 and will position our company as one of the most committed to ethics and lawfulness in the construction sector.
