Rubau’s presence in international markets has grown significantly during this year. One example is the latest contracts awarded to Rubau in Poland.
Rubau’s presence in Poland has been consolidated in recent months with three new contracts worth 62 million euros in total. Two of the contracts are for projects to upgrade the rail network: the 140/158 Chalupki-Rybnik line (34.4 million euros) and the 201 Gdynia-Kościernzyna line (20.8 million euros). The third project, with a cost of 6.8 million euros, includes construction of the Żywiec bypass, building the new section of the 945 regional road parallel to the River Soła and rebuilding the bridge over this river.
At present, 60% of ConstruccionesRubau’s output is located in foreign markets. In addition to the projects in Poland, the Girona construction company is also involved in projects in Mexico, Peru, Colombia and Serbia.
