The Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility has awarded Grupo RUBAU the project for the improvement of the N502a as it passes through Talavera de la Reina (Toledo) to adapt it for pedestrian and cyclist traffic.
The works focus on improving 4.56 km of urban road, and the tasks include resurfacing and generally conditioning these sections to adapt to their new use with better signage, lighting, and services, and to reduce the maximum speed limit. The sections to be renovated are located between PK 114+030 and PK 119+855, and the planned actions include the complete renewal of sidewalks, the implementation of shared bike lanes with vehicles and cycle lanes, as well as the modernization of public lighting, replacement of services, installation of urban furniture, and landscaping work.

The Humanization Project of the N-502 in Talavera represents a significant milestone for the city that will greatly improve the lives of Talavera residents and the experience of its visitors.
